KYOCERA AVX CapGuard Series combines a multilayer varistor (MLV) and a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) in a single radial leaded component. The design provides effective transient voltage suppression and EMI/RFI noise filtering for electronic circuits. The CapGuard Series features an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and working voltages of 26Vdc and 45Vdc. These devices come with capacitance values of 0.47 µF or 1.0 µF with a tolerance of ±20%. Applications include DC motors, inductive switching circuits, input/output ports, power supplies, relays, and EMI filtering applications that require surge protection.
