KYOCERA AVX TransGuard Automotive Series Multilayer Varistors are zinc oxide–based multilayer ceramic semiconductor devices with non-linear, bi-directional voltage-current characteristics. These components combine overvoltage protection and EMI/RFI attenuation in a single surface-mount package. The TransGuard automotive series varistors feature an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, and are qualified to AEC-Q200, ISO 7637-2-2004, and JASO D001-1994 standards. Applications include internal combustion engine vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, and commercial vehicles.
