Sometimes simple is best. The sky is blue, water is wet, and the sun is bright. Add to that Amphenol Industrial naming a power connector the Ultimate Power Connector, or UPC for short. The UPC 14.0mm series are plastic power connectors designed for hybrids, EVs, heavy equipment, and other applications that require high power delivery in a compact and robust connector.
The connectors are rated for up to 450A and 1000V DC using patented 14mm RADSOK contacts. RADSOK technology enables 50% higher currents in the same pin size compared to traditional contacts and improves reliability and durability while reducing mating forces. The connectors are touchproof and offered with integrated HVIL. They also have 360° EMI shielding and are IP67-rated when mated. Amphenol Industrial UPC 14.0mm series connectors feature a keyway design to prevent incorrect mating.
