Amphenol Advanced Sensors ZTP Series Thermopile Infrared Detectors
Amphenol Advanced Sensors ZTP Series Thermopile Infrared Detectors are industry-leading higher-sensitivity level sensors. These devices respond to a broad infrared spectrum, offer an inherently stable response to DC radiation, and do not require a source of bias voltage or current. The detectors consist of thermo-elements, a flat IR filter, and a thermistor for temperature compensation in a hermetically-sealed TO package. ZTP Series detectors are available in a variety of filters to maximize performance in specific applications.

Some of you might remember holding a thermometer under your tongue for a minute to check your temperature, right after one of your siblings used the same thermometer. How were we ever okay with that?! But cross-infection is no longer an issue thanks to non-contact thermometers, and Amphenol Advanced Sensors ZTP-148SRC1 non-contact IR temperature sensors will help make thermometers even better.
The ZTP-148SRC1 includes a high sensitivity thermopile with a fast response time along with a thermistor for accurate ambient temperature compensation. These are housed in a compact and hermetically sealed TO-46 package with a flat infrared filter, with a variety of filters available to optimize performance for any target application. The low-cost ZTP-148SRC1 sensor is ideal for ear and forehead thermometers and is the perfect candidate for integrating into personnel health-check kiosks.
