Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67 RF Connectors & Cable Assemblies
Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67 RF Interface Connectors and Cable Assemblies are high-density and high-performance devices. These VITA 67 devices come in variants 67.3, 67.2, and 67.1 connectors and cable assemblies. The VITA 67 devices feature blind-mate and simplified cable routing reducing Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR). These devices are designed for side-by-side implementation with other VITA connector standards. The unique SV connector retention mechanism offers significant ease of assembly/disassembly.
The VITA 67 RF Interface Connectors and Cable Assemblies feature floating SMPM coaxial pins, ensuring excellent RF performance in any mating condition. These connectors meet or exceed environmental tests (shock, vibe, and temperature) as specified in VITA 67. The SMPM min pitch is 0.228” and the SMPS min pitch is 0.155”. Typical applications include SIGINT, EWR, ground base station and communication systems, avionics, and radar systems.

Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67.3 SMPM Interface Connectors Series electrical and mechanical performance meets and exceeds the standards specified in ANSI/VITA67.3- 2017. These SMPM Series devices are available in Plug-in connector modules and Backplane connector module variants. The Plug-In Connector Modules are manufactured by a variety of embedded systems technology companies with the common goal of interfacing to the Backplane.

Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67.3 SMPS Interface Connectors Series are designed to support design flexibility, increased data rates, and the high-density requirements of VPX platforms. The SMPS series has been an industry standard for over 10 years and is used extensively in some of the most demanding US MIL-AERO programs. These SMPM Series devices are available in Plug-in connector modules and Backplane connector module variants. The VITA 67.3 SMPS Plug-In connector modules slightly differ from their SMPM predecessor. These contacts have either snap-in or flange-mounted features, which are tightly pitched and stay aligned via precision holes in the Plug-In Connector Module.

Amphenol SV Microwave VITA 67.1 and 67.2 Interface Connectors Series offer a robust and rugged high-speed cabled solution. The VITA 67.1 comes with a 3U and 4-port SMPM configuration, and VITA 67.2 comes with a 6U and 8-port SMPM configuration. The floating SMPM coaxial contacts ensure excellent RF performance in any mating condition. These connectors are also designed for side-by-side implementation with VITA 46 hardware and can be cabled to .086" and smaller diameter coaxial cable types.
