Amphenol SV Microwave BMA Series Connectors were developed in the 1980s by government designation BMA (Blindmate A). These connectors, originally designated OSP™ connectors by M/A-Com, have excellent electrical performance up to 22GHz in a compact size. The BMA Series connectors offer extended frequencies on most designs up to 26.5GHz, featuring a slide-on interface and connector durability of 5000 cycles. These components operate within a temperature range from -65°C to +165°C, with an impedance of 50Ω and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000Vrms. Typical applications include high-performance microwave systems.
