Amphenol RF MCX Series Connectors feature a secure, quick snap-on/snap-off coupling mechanism. These connectors utilize the same inner contact and insulator dimensions as SMB connectors, but with a plug outer diameter of 0.14in, making them 30% smaller than SMB. The MCX connectors offer designers an ideal solution for applications where weight and space are limited. These connectors provide a minimum impedance of 50Ω, a maximum voltage rating of 335Vrms, and a maximum dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000V. The device operate within a temperature range from -65˚C to +165˚C and frequency range from 0GHz to 6GHz. Typical applications include base stations, GPS, instrumentation, PC/LAN, telecom and wireless network antennas.
