Amphenol FCI PCI Express Straddle-Mount Card Edge Connectors

Amphenol FCI PCI Express Straddle-Mount Card Edge Connectors are designed to accept a 1.58mm (0.062") thick add-in card. To prevent improper insertion, these connectors feature a molded polarization key and a corresponding notch on the add-in card. The connectors come with rows of soldertails angled outwards at the tips to provide lead-in so that it can easily slip over the edge of the PCB without stubbing. Mounting ears on the connector helps protect against soldertail damage during handling before soldering and also provides the option for screw-attachment to the host PCB. These connectors find applications in desktop PCs, servers, and workstations.
