Interruptions are great when you need to get out of an awkward first date, but interruptions are terrible when they come from electrical connections. Amphenol ICC’s MRD series rugged circular connectors can’t solve your dating problems, but they do have one-third-turn bayonet couplings or quick-release locking latches to secure the connection.
MRD series connectors are sealed connectors with an IP67 rating, and they’re offered with either an all-plastic construction or metal locking bodies for greater durability. MRD connectors are available with 2, 3, or 4 positions with contacts rated up to 10A and 500VAC. MRD series connectors are available in panel mount or cable termination options and are ideal for transmitting power or signals in industrial, instrumentation, and medical applications.
