Amphenol Aerospace 38999 Ram-Lock connectors are designed for environments where accidental unmating is a concern. This connector features a push-pull interface with a positive locking mechanism that requires users to pull the operating sleeve to disengage the connector, preventing accidental disconnection when pulling on the cable. The Ram-Lock connector includes visual, tactile, and audible indicators to confirm full mating. These connectors provide full environmental sealing and EMI protection and can operate at temperatures up to 200°C in aluminum configuration, with options available for higher temperatures. Common applications include soldier-worn equipment, electric vehicle charging, battery terminal connections, ejection seat mechanisms, and in-line power and signal connections.
