Amphenol Advanced Sensors WTF083B001 Coolant Temperature Sensors (CTS) are designed to monitor coolants' temperatures in various applications. The sensor relays a notification signal in the event of over-temperature, so any action can be taken to prevent permanent damage or unsafe conditions. These Coolant Temperature Sensors (CTS) are also used to monitor the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around the battery to cool the battery module in Electric Vehicles (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Typical applications include HVAC water management, home appliances, and HVAC refrigerant lines.
