3M VHB Tapes
3M VHB Tapes uses acrylic foam with double-sided adhesive to bond materials without mechanical fasteners and distribute stress across the joint. These tapes resist temperature variation, moisture, UV exposure, and solvents while sealing and damping vibration. The VHB tapes offer thickness ranges from about 0.15mm to 3.0mm and short-term temperature resistance up to 230°C. These tapes have long-term resistance up to 150°C, with bond strength increasing to about 50% in 20 minutes and 100% in 72 hours. Typical applications panel bonding, structural assembly, signage, electronics, appliances, and transportation.
