3M HF447 Series Flat Cables is the world’s first ribbon cable to be independently certified by Underwriters' Labs (UL) as meeting the definition of a low-smoke, halogen-free cable. The cable has a temperature rating of -40°C to +90°C and a horizontal flammability rating per UL. The cables are constructed of 30AWG solid wires within a polyolefin blend insulation on 0.025 inch (0.0635mm) centerline. The solid copper conductor can be soldered to a printed circuit board for direct-attach wire connections. Typical applications of HF447 series flat cables are electrical and industrial.
