Fort Worth, Texas – February 19, 2024 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, proudly announces Maggie Montoya, Director, Payroll and Hobey Strawn, Vice President of Operations Americas, as this year’s Founders Award recipients. With this announcement, Montoya and Strawn join the elite Founders Award circle.
The prestigious accolades were presented by Mike Morton, TTI CEO during the closing awards ceremony following the annual sales leadership conference.
The Founders Award, established in perpetuity in 2022, honors TTI founder, Paul Andrews as a permanent commemoration of the highest award to an individual within the organization who exemplifies the principles established by Andrews as the foundation of TTI more than 50 years ago.
The honorees were gifted a plaque engraved with the following quote attributed to Andrews for many years – “If a task is once begun, never leave it till it’s done. Be the labor great of small, do it well or not at all.”
Earlier, a special Founders Award was presented to David Williamson, Vice President of Western Region, upon his retirement after a 33-year career with TTI. Mike Morton presented the award during a retirement celebration given in Williamson’s honor in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.
