Vishay’s new product VSMB2948SL Series are infrared, 940nm emitting diodes in GaAlAs multi quantum well (MQW) technology with high radiant power and high speed, molded in clear, untinted lensed plastic packages for surface mounting (SMD). These emitters are package matched with the detector VEMD2000X01 family of SMD products and feature a small form factor for tightly spaced sensing applications.
