Fort Worth, Texas – March 2, 2022 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking Dialight’s 515-1071 Series Light Pipes. These light pipes are designed to utilize a PLCC 2 or PLCC 4 PCB-mounted LED for ideal light transmission.
Dialight’s Optopipe® 515-1071F circular light-emitting surfaces appear bright and uniform in intensity. They are reliably held in place by two press-fit pins located on the right side of each of the two light pipe elements. These Optopipes function as a through-the-case indicator with a textured finish on the two light-emitting surfaces that increases its viewing angle. The recommended light sources are Dialight's 597 Series PLCC-2 or PLCC-4 Type SMT LEDs. The LEDs are mounted in a straight line on a 0.250” pitch. The light pipe material is water-clear, transmissive-polycarbonate-rated UL94-V0 and has a 35 percent oxygen index.
