OSRAM Opto Semiconductors SFH4726 Series of infrared emitters are designed several key applications including surveillance camera applications, closed circuit TV and CCTV, which flood the area under observation with infrared light to ensure good image quality. Additional uses include safety light curtains, industrial controls, factory automation and IR communications, where narrow beam angles are critical. Most solutions operate with a wavelength of 850nm because the receiving sensors have good sensitivity tuned for this wavelength. These devices are product certified to AEC-Q101-REV-C, Stress Test Qualification for Automotive Grade Discrete Semiconductors.
