These compact, high output, 0402 surface mount LEDs are designed with epoxy resin flat lenses to optimize color mixing efficiency. This new lineup includes options in standard brightness and the high brightness bins. LEDs are optimized for use in indication and illumination on digital signage, industrial front panels and medical display systems.
ROHM’s SML-P Series LEDs are high-intensity devices designed for color and indicator applications. Fully functional in low-power-consuming application specifications at 1mA drive current, their low z-height allows for improved color mixing. This product is well suited for digital signage where low profile and high component density are required, offering design flexibility for backlighting in medical devices and other handheld mobile devices where low power consumption is desirable. ROHM’s new product is compatible with standard reflow soldering processes, environmentally friendly, RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
