Fort Worth, Texas – April 13, 2022 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking the VCNL4035X01 family of Proximity and Ambient Light Sensors from Vishay. These sensors are targeted to meet the requirements of various medical, industrial and process automation sensing applications.
Vishay’s VCNL4035X01 integrates a proximity sensor (PS), ambient light sensor (ALS), muxx and driver for up to three external IREDs/LEDs into one small package. It incorporates photodiodes, amplifiers and analog-to-digital converting circuits into a single chip by the CMOS process. The 16-bit, high-resolution ALS offers excellent sensing capabilities with sufficient selections to fulfill most applications, whether with a dark or high transparency lens design. The programmable interrupt function for ALS and PS contains upper and lower thresholds, offering the best utilization of resource and power saving on the microcontroller.
