Fort Worth, Texas – April 4, 2022 − TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, today announced the winners of its prestigious 2021 Americas Supplier Excellence Awards.

Melanie Pizzey, TTI Vice President Global Business Operations, made the announcement. “We are pleased to announce the 2021 Supplier Excellence Award winners.” TTI acknowledges the following suppliers for their outstanding performance: Bourns, KOA Speer Electronics, TDK-Epcos, Nichicon, Yageo and Littelfuse.

TTI presents Bourns, KOA Speer Electronics, TDK-EPCOS, Nichicon, and Yageo with the Platinum award which is the highest award level given. Platinum achievement level requires five consecutive years of award recognition, and continuous recognition each year to maintain Platinum status. Littelfuse will be recognized as a repeat winner. KOA Speer Electronics will also be recognized as the Best Quality Award recipient for the Americas and EMEA regions. The Diamond Award for the highest overall point achievement, will be presented to Bourns acknowledging their distinguished performance in the Americas for 2021.

In its eleventh year, the Global Operations Excellence Award recognizes the supplier who earns the award in all three TTI regions – Americas, EMEA, and Asia, and scoring the highest total points globally. This year and for the first time, Bourns earned the Diamond Award for the highest scoring supplier in all three TTI regions, setting them up for a record seventh time to receive the Global Operations Excellence award.

Pizzey commented, “By earning the global award seven out of eleven years against some tough competition, Bourns has demonstrated global consistency in their dedication to continuous improvement and exceptional customer service. What a fitting tribute to Bourns’ efforts in achieving a new level of excellence in their 75th Anniversary year! The Supplier Excellence program focuses on quality measurements that include: on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations and business systems. In addition, there are performance measurements such as sales and management support.
