TDK introduced the ACT series Common Mode Ferrite Chip filters for the automotive markets. This series is RoHS compliant, offering outstanding common mode impedance characteristics and achieves structural reliability compatible with a high-temperature environment of 150 °C. Concentrating the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) inside the engine room has become mainstream and ideal for industrial communications signal lines such as the CAN protocol in automotive applications.
