Bourns Inductive Components Product Line has introduced the Model SM13126PEL single-port, potted construction LAN 10/100 Base-Tx VoIP and IEEE 802.3 compliant transformer for Ethernet applications. This LAN transformer is PoE capable with an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +85ºC and 1.5k Vrms isolation voltage.
These transformers are perfect for applications needing voice and power delivered to an endpoint such as industrial paging systems, surveillance systems with speaker capability and VoIP phones. Having the ability to power and communicate using one cable greatly reduces installation cost and improves reliability for the entire life of the system.
