TE Connectivity Spec 55 Low Fluoride Wire and Cable
TE Connectivity Spec 55 Low Fluoride (LF) Wire and Cable is constructed with a fluoropolymer and follows the MIL Spec SAE-AS22759 standards. The wire and cable insulation system offers five times the scrape abrasion within the specifications. The Spec 55 LF wire insulation system mitigates the concern for corrosion of components due to outgassing in confined areas. The Spec 55 wire and cables are also available in lightweight single-wall or extra rugged dual-wall variants. These wires and cables typically have an off-gassing value of less than 10PPM, which helps reduce the potential for corrosion of other components due to trapped gases escaping in a vacuum or low-pressure environment. This makes these wires and cables ideal for space, launch, and missile platform customers.
