TE Connectivity's 0.50 connectors provide weight reduction through miniaturized electronic components, smaller wires and a reduced total connector package. Due to the increase of engine control units (ECUs) in the vehicle, the demand for smaller and lighter components is rising. Our 0.50 connectors are used in various harsh automotive applications where higher temperatures and vibration loads require improved and innovative terminal and connector systems.
NanoMQS Systems:
Based on the highly successful MQS, the NanoMQS terminal and connector system supports wire sizes as small 0.13 mm2. Fully LV214 compliant, it enables a PCB footprint reduction by approximately 50% while offering up to 3 amps of nominal current capacity.
MCON 0.50 Terminal System:
MCON 0.50 terminal system that has been designed for deployment in very harsh automotive environments. With the same space saving advantages as its NanoMQS terminal counterpart it is a sealed system offering a “clean body approach”. MCON 0.50 system meets the requirements for LV214 level 3 for close-proximity installations and level 4 in the case of direct engine mounting.
0.50 Connector Series:
TE's 0.50 connector series provides weight reduction through miniaturized electronic components, smaller wires and a reduced total connector package.
