ITB Poke-In Series Connectors
The BUCHANAN WireMate Inverted Thru-Board (ITB) connectors are specially designed for use in linear and circular LED modules. The unique headers enable power delivery from the underside of the PCB and LED arrays, eliminating top-surface wire management issues. With their easy-to-use poke-in and wire release features, the new connectors help shorten installation time and provide extra flexibility for reuse and wire replacement. The connectors are modular in design, available for up to five wire connections and in different colors to help installers avoid mistakes when inserting wires.
Poke-In Series Connectors
Ideal for LED Lighting applications, TE's BUCHANAN WireMate connector Poke-In series is a a 4.0mm pitch connector for wire to board connectivity. The poke-in feature allows for easy and fast wire insertion. A modular version is available in several color configurations enabling a flexible solution with easy identification and assembly.
Two Piece Poke-In Series Connectors
BUCHANAN WireMate two piece poke-in series of products provide designers a three directional solution for wall mounting a device and improve the overall installation experience for the novice installer. Wires are routed through an opening in the wall to TE’s Buchanan WireMate connector mounted on a wall plate. The wires are stripped of insulation and easily poked into the terminal block device providing a reliable termination without the need for tooling.
Slim Poke-In Series Connectors
TE's BUCHANAN WireMate connector Slim Poke-In series is designed for quick and easy wire-to-board connectivity in a low-profile, slim form factor. The releasable contact function, along with the design for multiple wire sizes, allows for convenience in installation and rework. Additionally, the low profile and small footprint allow for high density and compact PCB designs.
Surface Mount TB Series Connectors
TE's BUCHANAN WireMate connector Surface Mount TB series is a two-piece pluggable solution designed for lighting and building automation applications. Mating plugs are available in vertical or right angle configurations in position sizes from 2 to 12 poles. These products are designed for customers looking to make the change to full SMT printed circuit boards, or looking for a reflow soldering capable product.
Vertical Poke-In Series Connectors
Compatible in pottable and non-pottable applications with printed circuit board wave solder processes, the BUCHANAN WireMate connector Vertical Poke-In series allows for insertion of stripped solid conductor wire without special tooling. Designed for permanent connections wire to board in lighting and building automation applications wire is securely held in place but can be removed with an extraction tool, if required.
Slim Contact for Wire Connectors
TE Connectivity's Slim Wire-to-Board Connectors serve as easy poke-in connectors with strong retention ability (30N minimum). These slim contacts have no housing, which allows the conductor to be connected easily without special tools. The small profile of these contacts saves space on the board. These connectors are designed for solid and stranded wire from 16 AWG to 24 AWG. The slim connectors have a -40 to +125ºC operating temperature range.

The series of connectors enables designers of lighting, industrial controls, and building automation systems to fully switch to surface mount technology and it’s compatible with reflow soldering temperatures for fast and simple assembly.
TE’s Buchanan WireMate connector Surface Mount TB series connectors are available with up to 12 positions on a centerline pitch of 3.5 or 5 mm, and are rated up to 15 A at 300 V. Plugs offer various wire entry angles for maximum design flexibility, and retention options are available to secure the connectors to the PCB.
