KYOCERA AVX BP Series Multilayer Organic Band Pass Filters

KYOCERA AVX BP Series Multilayer Organic Band Pass Filters are low-profile devices and utilize high dielectric constant and low loss materials to realize high Q passive printed elements. These filters have best-in-class performance based on multilayer organic high-density interconnect technology. These BP series MLO band pass filters are less than 1.0mm in thickness and support many frequency bands and multiple wireless standards. Typical applications include mobile communications, GPS, and satellite receivers.

Are your electronics organic? AVX MLO filters are. MLO filters are based on AVX’s patented multilayer organic high-density interconnect technology, and while you won’t find them at your local organic grocer, you will find plenty of benefits when you use them in your next design. Available in low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass variants, MLO filters support many frequency bands and wireless standards and feature 50Ω input and output and low insertion loss. The filters also offer steep roll-off for high rejection of unwanted frequencies.

MLO filters are less than 1 millimeter thick and use LGA pads to keep the profile to a minimum and minimize parasitics. They are also expansion matched to most organic PCB materials for improved reliability compared to silicon and ceramic devices. The small size, light weight, and high performance make AVX MLO filters ideal for wireless communications, portable electronics, base stations, and other applications.
