Molex Mega-Fit Power Connectors
Molex Mega-Fit Power Connectors continue to innovate the interconnect industry. Molex expands current-carrying capabilities up to 26.0A with Mega-Fit power connectors by enabling one of the highest current-density options compared to existing mid-range power connectors. The innovative split-box terminal design offers six independent points of contact to provide long-term reliability through secondary current-path redundancy. These mega-fit power connectors maintain many of the characteristics of Molex’s proven power products including isolated terminals, positive housing locks, and polarized housings.
The Mega-Fit Power Connectors are available in Dual-Row W-to-W and Single-Row Connectors variants that offer different mechanical keying options, reducing the risk of cross-mating. Sometimes operators improperly engage connectors and face fatigue in high-force mating and mated connectors can also require pull forces for disconnecting. With a new latch design, Mega-Fit Dual-Row W-to-W and Single-Row Connectors provide superior retention when mated to the header, they also require less force to mate and unmate. Typical applications include washers and dryers, power supplies, power converters, and unsealed electronic control modules.
