The LEDs have an industry standard 0603 footprint with a low profile, making them ideal for use in backlights, status indicators, wearables, healthcare applications, and other compact devices.
Even with their small size, they offer a high intensity output with a wide 120 degree viewing angle for easy viewing from off center and in any lighting condition. Kingbright AA1608 Mini PLCC-2 SMD LEDs are offered in the full color spectrum and cool white. They’re provided on tape and reel packaging for use with automated assembly processes and they’re compatible with reflow soldering for low-cost assembly.
