Fort Worth, Texas, – March 8, 2021 – In a moving tribute to Paul Andrews, TTI CEO, The Electronics Representative Association, (ERA) posthumously honored the life and legacy of the man known throughout the industry as a humble, trailblazing entrepreneur with a heart of gold.

Andrews had been notified of the ERA’s intent to bestow the organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award during their annual event which would be held virtually on March 2, 2021. Andrews, who passed unexpectedly on February 27, had chosen to pre-record his acceptance speech.

Walter Tobin, ERA CEO, offered this comment, “Paul was one of the main architects of our industry, a true pioneer and visionary who took so much pride in TTI, the company he created 50 years ago. He motivated everyone to do their best because we saw him do his best for all of us every day. He never lost sight of what this world is all about — hard work combined with trust, respect and friendship. We were deeply saddened to learn about Paul’s death. We are truly grateful that we were able to honor his tremendous contributions to the industry with the 2021 ERA Lifetime Achievement Award and to share his pre-recorded acceptance speech during the ERA Conference on March 2, so the industry could hear from Paul one last time. We have truly lost a giant.”
