Fort Worth, Texas – February 22, 2021 – TTI, Inc., a specialty distributor of electronic components, is proud to continue its corporate mission of supporting STEM and educational technology outreach around the world by making a significant contribution to Girls in Tech, a global non-profit organization focused on engagement, education and empowerment of women in technology.

Throughout 2020, the TTI executive team crisscrossed the country telling the TTI story in townhall meetings gathering fans and rave reviews from customers, suppliers and rep partners. To commemorate the experience, a special limited-edition Road Show t-shirt was created and sold to fans along the way. Through the generosity and support of our supplier partners and those who purchased the t-shirts, $5,871 has been raised for GIT. Furthering TTI’s commitment to promote the mission of the organization, TTI will provide an additional corporate matching donation.

Don Akery, President, TTI Americas, “TTI is very pleased to be able to make this significant financial contribution along with our many Road Show supporters who jumped on board to support this worthy project. TTI takes great pride in our commitment to further the advancement of STEM opportunities and we are honored to partner with GIT as they work to inspire, encourage and mentor the next generation of women in the field of technology.”

Last year, TTI supplier, Omron Electronic Components, gifted a generous donation to GIT in lieu of presenting TTI with a physical award for being named distributor of the year. Combined donations from all fundraising efforts totaling nearly $13,000 will be contributed to GIT.
