Fort Worth, Texas – November 10, 2020 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking an expanded offering of ROHM infrared components.

These infrared LEDs are suitable for many non-contact sensing applications especially for medical and industrial products. With automotive quality built in, they are well suited for medical equipment sensing needs like ECG/(EKG) equipment, pulse oximeters, digital stethoscopes, blood glucose meters, blood pressure monitoring and ultrasound systems.

ROHM also offers a variety of spectrally matched sensors in phototransistor and photodiode output configurations. These products are available in both through-hole and surface mount packages and are offered in wavelength ranges of 850nm – 870nm to fit your design requirements. This makes it possible to design in matched optical characteristics, significantly easing the design challenges.

Additionally, by optimizing the LED die, ROHM was able to improve intensity and overall reliability. Most of these LEDs are AEC-Q101 qualified, making them suitable for the ever-increasing medical equipment requirements.
